Returns & Refund Policy
The following terms apply to the return of any product purchased from Aussie Savings Spot, whether through the Aussie Savings Spot website, by phone, email, or in person.
Return Period
Aussie Savings Spot offers a 30-day return policy. Customers can return products within 30 days of the dispatch date from our depot. Please read the terms and conditions for specific details regarding product returns.
Returns After 30 Days
Products cannot be returned after 30 days from the dispatch date under any circumstances.
Used Products
We do not accept returns or issue refunds for products that have been used. All returned products will be thoroughly assessed by an Aussie Savings Spot technician/expert before any refunds or exchanges are processed.
Definition of 'Used Product'
A product is considered used if:
- It has been completely unpackaged.
- The packaging is damaged or discarded.
- The product shows signs of use.
- The product is dirty or damaged.
- The product has been modified or dismantled.
Products must be returned in the exact condition they were received.
Original Packaging
Products must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging to be eligible for a refund. We recommend carefully opening and retaining the packaging for 30 days. Products returned without original packaging or with damaged packaging are ineligible for refunds or exchanges.
Change of Mind
Customers may return products within 30 days of purchase due to a change of mind, provided the products are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
Inspection
All returned products will be inspected by a technician to ensure compliance with our return policy before any refunds are issued.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. We recommend using an insured, trackable courier service.
Additional Costs
Aussie Savings Spot will deduct the cost of payment method fees, restocking fees, bank fees, and any other charges incurred during the initial order process from the total refund amount. The original shipping cost will also be deducted. Customers will be informed of the total deductions before initiating the return.
Damaged or Missing Products in Transit
No refunds will be issued for products damaged or lost during return transit. Customers should contact their courier service for assistance and take photos of the product and packaging before shipping.
Manufacturing Defects
If a product has a manufacturing defect within its warranty period, and the defect is not due to misuse, customers can return the product for a replacement or repair under warranty.
Post-Return Process
Once a return is received and inspected, customers will be notified via email about the approval or rejection of their refund or replacement. Receipt of the returned product does not guarantee a refund.
Approved Returns
If a return meets all conditions, a refund will be issued minus initial shipping fees, payment method fees, and any other applicable charges.
Rejected Returns
If a return does not meet the conditions, customers can have their products shipped back at their own expense. Aussie Savings Spot is not liable for any damage during return shipping.
Disputes and Chargebacks
Decisions regarding returns are final. Chargebacks are treated as theft and will be referred to authorities.
Partial Returns
Refunds for partial returns will be limited to the price of the returned products, minus any applicable deductions.
Free Items
Free items included in an order must also be returned if the main product is returned. No refunds will be issued for free items.
